ABOUT OUR MUSIC The DupliKates are a fun musical quartet (sometimes trio) that
mixes spine-tingling vocal harmonies with diverse instrumental accompaniment to
create an eclectic mix of unique music of varying styles. The DupliKates are know for their trademark humorous
and irreverent tunes for convention entertainment and for adding great
listening/background music to special events or parties. Acoustic or
amplified, the DupliKates blend rich vocals with diverse instruments to create
distinctive and memorable performances. Our eclectic music features
mandolin, guitar, banjo, standup bass, percussion, and an occasional clarinet or
penny whistle. And, on a
given night, don't be surprised if you also hear the occasional harmonica,
keyboards or even kazoo! The DupliKates' music covers a diverse assortment of
artists from Dan Hicks to the Who, from Bonnie Raitt to Molly and the
Makers, and from Irving Berlin to Jefferson Airplane (ever heard "White
Rabbit" done on a five-string banjo?). From blues to bluegrass, swing
to acoustic rock, folk to Jazz, the DupliKates bring their unique style to songs
you've always loved, or soon will. Always Entertaining, interesting, fun,
